The North Carolina Business Council invites you to our Second Annual Leadership in Visionary Enterprise (LiVE) Awards Luncheon where we will honor business leaders who are leading the way in "Transforming How We Do Business For Good." They have demonstrated excellence in implementing Triple Bottom Line business principles placing a premium on people, planet, and profit.
This year's 'LiVE' theme is "Transforming How We Do Business For Good."
Our Keynote Speaker will be Christopher Chung, Chief Executive Officer, Economic Development Partnership of North Carolina (EDPNC.) In 2015, Chung took the helm of EDPNC, a private, nonprofit organization that manages the sales, recruiting and marketing functions that had previously been the responsibility of the state Commerce Department. Additionally, Chung oversees a business services unit and the state tourism, film, and sports development programs.
Under Chung's guidance, North Carolina has been the focus of several high-profile "mega-projects" searches that placed considerable public attention on the work of economic development professionals nationwide including Foxconn, Toyota-Mazda, and Amazon’s “HQ2.”
